Established during their studies at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels, the Area Dolce is a group specialized in historical performance practice of music from 17th and 18th century.  

Area Dolce focuses on the repertoire in which the flute, and more concrete the duet of flutes, have an important role using copies of original instruments and studying all the sources available to become as close as possible to the historic performance. Their purpose is to point out less known repertoire nevertheless with a high quality.
